Sorry sorry sorry! It’s been over 2 weeks– but I swear I’ve been doing stuff! It’s just that everything at this point is in the work-in-progress stage, and I had a lot of Foster’s work to do that kept me away from doll making and my family was visiting and our DSL has decided to become obnoxiously slooooooooowwww…

So enough with my pathetic excuses. Here’s some of what I’ve been doing in the last 2 weeks…

My Mom and brother (who must have been bored out of his guourd to offer) helped me with these. Mom cut out the batting, Greg notched the edges, and I stuffed and turned right-side-out. It was quite the little assembly line!

I have decided to update the designs of the girls. It has been 3 years since I created the art work that’s currently on my website (my site) and not only do I feel the ginormous feet and black line work seem outdated, I also draw a little better now. First panel is the old drawing, second panel is the revised sketch, the third panel is the new version, cleaned up in Illustrator by my friend Janice. She also picked the colors for the new line work. Thanks Janice!

Well…. likes “Urnus,” anyway. I found this piece of fanart on the web on what I think is a Powerpuff Girls fansite (ReadMe!Girls!) The headline reads “Chris Battle Blog & Foster’s.” Chris is a friend of mine who I worked with on Powerpuff, and Foster’s is the show I’m working on now, but I have no idea what that has to do with Uranus. The rest of the text on the page is in Japanese, so I guess I’ll never know. In any case, it’s insanely flattering to find fanart, so I had to share!!!
